Positives: Great staff, clean hotel, perfect location, comfortable room Negatives: Valet parking at the hotel cost about $* for 48 hours. That should have been addressed before I booked the hotel. Also, while the hotel room was very nice, I felt a lack of privacy in the bathroom. Instead of a normal door leading to the bathroom, there's a silhouette door that didn't click shut. You could see a small opening when the door was "shut". It can be a little uncomfortable when you're trying to do your business when someone else is in the other room.

The Hotel was in a great location close to the metro and right on DuPont circle where there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. We walked to the national mall one day it was a bit of a hike, and then we took the metro back which was very convenient. The valet was $* a day which was a bit more than I was expecting and a concierge but they had off the entire time we stayed at the hotel. That was disappointing because I was expecting advice on restaurants, reservations and travel tips. The rest of the staff had to scramble to think of restaurants and directions. We just ended up going online and finding places to eat. Weekend rates were much better than weekdays.

The hotel was amazing. It was so clean and the modern decor just made the whole experience. The hotel staff was so friendly and helpful, and the bar is fabulous. I will defenately be going back the next time I am in the area. Room service was great and fast. Overall this was a great hotel It saved my trip.

We just got home today, and since I'm quick to complain about poor service, I make it a point to be quick to compliment a good thing. Stayed at Dupont because they had a special price, and boy did we get lucky!! There was a small snafu on checkin which was quickly remedied, extremely professional and extraordinarily courteous. This was our first visit to DC, and Dupont Circle is a wonderful location for a hotel. There are two Metro stops (the subway) within a block or so, and tons of great restaurants about three blocks away (pleasant, tree-lined stroll). The neighborhood is vibrant and charming. They've apparently just renovated this hotel, and our room showed it. Very contemporary and sleek decor, immaculately clean, and such a wonderful bed. I especially loved the precision-aimed and effective reading lights and MP3 player for a bedside clock. We had a difficulty with our TV and called the desk. A person showed up LITERALLY within moments to fix it. (Thank God--it was the final ten minutes of the season finale of American Idol!). This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Didn't eat there ourselves, but another guest mentioned that the food was quite good. I don't know what their regular price is per night, but I'd love to stay there again. Special thanks. Management, you have an exceptional staff!

This hotel was a disaster from the start. We had 3 rooms in 2 days because the air conditioning wouldn't work right. Still, our third room would get extremely warm when set to 60 degrees. The free Internet was slow as well and half the TV channels were offline. On the good side, the location is excellent and the staff is very helpful.
